If you have a great plan to start up a business that provides some product or service that people really want, you ll make big bux. If you are like 90% of new businesses, you ll be out of business in the first 3 years.

Go to your college s career development office and make an appointment. They ll help you determine what careers you would find enjoyable and rewardaing. Then they can advise you about what to major in. If it s a business administration major, so much for the good; odds are it will be something else.

I don t think a business degree is a joke, it is an accomplishment; however, I will say that it seems like everybody and their brother has a business degree these days, the market may be a tad oversaturated.

There are several job options when you earn your business degree. Business actually challenges your mind. Since you were thinking about owning your own business; the best thing about that is you get to choose how you will operate your business, no restrictions as opposed to working for an employer or company.
